Our Annual Fundraising Spring Fling Plant Stall was a great success, with a wide variety of plants generously donated by our members. Proceeds from the stall support the club’s ongoing member and community initiatives'.
The Canowindra International Balloon Challenge 2025 featured an exciting street parade float, showcasing the vibrant spirit of the festival. It was a colorful highlight of the event, celebrating balloons and community togetherness.
The Open Garden Day at the historic Noojee Lea Homestead was a beautiful success! All gate fees from the event were generously donated to the Canowindra Hospital Auxiliary, supporting a great cause while showcasing this stunning garden.
As part of the 2024 International Balloon Festival, our first garden ramble welcomed up to 150 visitors at each of the 10 open gardens — a resounding success!
Members from the club attended the 2024 Garden Clubs of Australia Friendship Day at Clifton House & Gardens, Young — a wonderful gathering of South West NSW clubs to celebrate National Gardening Week, share knowledge, and enjoy time together.
As part of our ongoing efforts to improve the community, the Canowindra Garden Club has installed several dog poo stations around Canowindra. This initiative aims to keep our town clean and dog-friendly for everyone to enjoy.
A new picnic table has been installed along the Belubula Riverwalk, thanks to the Canowindra Garden Club. This addition provides a great spot for visitors to relax and enjoy the scenic views along the river.
Working in collaboration with the Canowindra Historical Society and Cabonne Council, the new Morris Park information board shares the park’s history with photos and stories.
